About Heather's Professional Experience

I’ve been working in the financial services industry since 2017, when I started as an Administrative Assistant with the Portland, Oregon branch of Voya Financial. What started as an entry into the industry quickly grew into a career I truly enjoy.

Since joining SJI Financial Services in 2019, I’ve had the opportunity to grow into multiple roles across the firm. Today, I serve as a Communications Manager. My day-to-day includes helping clients with account needs, supporting trading, and keeping our communication and marketing efforts running smoothly behind the scenes.

I hold my FINRA Series 6 and 63 through LPL Financial, along with my Arizona Life and Health Insurance licenses.

Meet Heather After Hours 

I grew up in San Diego, California in a military family, which helped shape my appreciation for resilience, community, and building meaningful connections.

My favorite role in life is being a mom to my daughter. I love watching her grow, discover new things, and become her own person. Being present for the everyday moments and milestones with her is something I truly cherish.

Life outside of work is centered around my family, and I’m grateful to share it with my husband and daughter. Together we enjoy making memories, whether it’s traveling, spending time outdoors, or simply enjoying the little moments at home.

Outside of family time, I enjoy reading, hiking, and finding simple ways to slow down and recharge. I’m also the co-owner of Mini Moons Yoga Collective, where I love creating a space for children to move, learn, and build confidence through yoga, mindfulness, and play.

Giving back is a big part of who I am, and I stay involved in volunteering with local and veteran-focused organizations, including the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary, the American Legion Auxiliary, the Daughters of the American Revolution, and Tucson Family Volunteers.
