Giving Back
Here at SJI Financial Services, we like to stay active not only in our clients' lives but also in our community. From events like school banners to giving to our employees or client charitable foundations, we will always try to give back.
Wounded Warrior Project (WWP)
Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) began in 2003 as a small, grassroots effort providing simple care and comfort items to the hospital bedsides of the first wounded service members returning home from the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan. As their post-service needs evolved, so have our programs and services. Today, through our direct programs in mental health, career counseling, and long-term rehabilitative care, along with our advocacy efforts, we improve the lives of millions of warriors and their families.
This effort requires the passion and commitment of friends, supporters, and like-minded organizations that enable us to fulfill our mission. With their collaboration and support, we strive to ensure that when those who serve come home, they’re afforded every opportunity to be as successful as a civilian as they were in the military.
Arizona Repertory Singers (ARS)
OUR MISSION
We enrich the life of our community by giving frequent live performances of choral literature from a variety of periods and musical traditions
We increase music appreciation by performing in as many venues as possible, and by taking concerts to audiences of great diversity in background, age and exposure to the arts.
We contribute to local charities by presenting benefit concerts for worthy organizations that benefit the community at large.

Noor Women's Association
Tucson’s vitality is built on its diversity, continually enriched and strengthened by the successes of newcomers. In a rapidly growing city full of new residents, one group arrives under special circumstances, seeking sanctuary from the violence and persecution they fled in their home countries to which they cannot return. In 1995 Noor started as an informal group of volunteers following the Bosnian crisis. In 2000 it was established as an organized group and was given it’s name. Noor continued to carry out its mission and helped thousands of families, until the year 2005 when it was decided that time had come to seek the 501(c)3 status. Noor now has a tax free status.
The mission of the Noor Women’s Association is to assist the neediest refugees to make the transition to the life in the United States. There are no overhead expenses – 100% of donations are provided directly to needy refugees. Our number one priority is widows and other single mothers. Our number two priority is families in crisis due to illness, loss of jobs, catastrophic accidents, etc.
StandUp for Kids Tucson
Every month, SJI is proud to sponsor Pizza Night for StandUp for Kids Tucson, creating a warm, welcoming space where local youth can simply enjoy being kids.
StandUp for Kids is a national nonprofit dedicated to ending the cycle of youth homelessness in communities across the country. Since 1990, the organization has supported unaccompanied homeless and at-risk youth — and young parents with children — up to age 25. Every young person they serve has experienced trauma, with many surviving abuse and deep neglect.
We’re honored to play a small part in helping these resilient young people feel seen, supported, and cared for.
Child & Family Resources Inc.
Child & Family Resources Inc. is a wonderful organization that has been providing educational resources, prevention measures, and childcare support to those in need for over 50 years. They work throughout the state of Arizona to provide children and families a strong community so that they may reach their potential.
SJI Financial Services is proud to support this amazing organization and we ask you to consider helping out in any way you can. To learn more about Child & Family Resources Inc., visit their website here.
